That aside, I am also an avid player of video games, both console and PC.
Also, I'm a fan of various anime as you might predict, with a special precedence for ones with very moé little girls :P I'm also quite a fan of creepy, evil little girls. But yeah, you can start seeing a trend now.
And just recently, I've started becoming interested in History, mainly European and Chinese.

| Mobile Suit Gundam: Awakening, Escalation, ConfrontationSo I just began reading the book yesterday, up to page 23. It was only a brief bit, really.
The book so far is in my mind, absolutely brilliant. There hasn't been much shown, but I've already seen minor characters that are pretty damn awesome.
Also, even though I'm only 23 pages into the book, most of those having been of an introduction and not apart of the story, I've already learned of a lot of minor technologies that are never elaborated on in the anime or on the Wikipedia articles. It also goes through some detail on how they work, like how laser scope doesn't actually see what they're looking at, but senses what it's able to through the Minovsky interferance, then using inference and extrapolation techniques, outputs as detailed a computer generated image as it is able to.
As a result, if you tried to spy on a suit that's fairly new or a "secret", and your Laser system does not have any information on it, the best you'll get is a sillouette. Well, this may have been represented before, but I never knew about it.

| Acquiring Wii plans finalizedOn Sunday, November 19th, 2006, I will arrive at Lansdowne Mall at around 8-9, and will wait (in or out of line) until 11, which is Best Buy's opening time that day. There's a possibility I'll have friends to help entertain me during that time. I'll have my PSP and DS with me, I'll probably print out the Valkyrie guide to help me there.
I'll have a dangerously high amount of cash on hand.
After the purchase is finished, which I estimate to be around lunch time, I'll bus or somehow get to Richmond Centre, eat lunch at IHOP and grab my games at EB.
That's the plan right now, anyhow~

| Wii!So I was totally checking out what was up with preorders around. It's pretty much definite that I'll have to buy it with no insurance. It'll be my first real experience lining up for something :3
I'm both exciting and somewhat dreading it.
I'll probably end up bringing Phoenix Wright and Trauma for my wait. It seems like there's a good chance I'll be celebrating the day with a bunch of friends, meaning I'll want to max out the number of controller-nunchuk combos I have.
It shall be great, more info when I have it.

01. Favorite Character Overall and Why
Huhu, Anise Tatlin. Interesting loli character, rather different from the usual. Shows some interesting ambitions near where I've stopped off. A Puppeteer's fighting style is superior. Something I would use myself :3 And orange is totally in.
02. Least Favorite Character Overall and Why
I'd have to say have to say Tear. It's such an ugly business having your character handcuffed to some long haired, soldier girl. She's probably the plainest of the bunch, as far as the main 6 characters went. Nice singing voice, but really, her only out-of-place quirk (her love of cuteness) is pretty weak compared to the ones of others.
03. Favorite WTF/Gay-innuendo Moment and Why
Keke. I liked it when Jade just stood there in one of those skits and went, "*blush*". Totally caught me off guard. His "torturing" of Saphir in that one scene at Keterburg was pretty questionable too, but chuckle worthy.
04. Favorite Overall Male Character (PC or NPC)
I'd say Jade. It was so badass when he was spinning his glasses on one finger while calmly debating with Van about their ideals. Plus, he has the best Mystic Arte lines. And the best costumes. Not to mention, he's so jaded.
05. Favorite Overall Female Character (PC or NPC)
It'd be redundant to mention Anise again, so let's go with Brigadier General Cecille. Fun NPC, looks like SEIBAAAAA. Military woman in black and red uniform. Need I say more?
06. Favorite Artes
Including FOF and Mystic Artes, I really like Gungnir A Go Go, Mystic Cage, Bloody Howling, Swallow Fury and I'd probably love Fever Time if I ever did it.
07. Most Annoying Character EVAR
I dunno, if I had to say, I'd probably pick out the Dark Wings. I just really want to smash them, good for nothing.
08. Characters you once disliked but now like
Jade and Natalia. Ion too, I suppose.
09. Favorite Pairing(s)
Brigadier General Cecille and General Frings <3 Kek. But more seriously, the Guy x Anise pairing has tickled my fancy. But best pairing ever, Jade x Glasses. Zomg. Oh, and Arietta x Anise :D
10. Least Favorite Pairings
Tear x Luke, Guy x Natalia and the "platonic" Jade x Anise. All the yaoi pairings are especially odious.
11. Best Character Designs in Your Opinion
Arietta, Anise, Jade, Brigadier General Cecille! SEIBAAAAA.

Hm, the Absorbtion Gate where the party was split into three was pretty cool.

Engeve, St. Binah, Sheridan and Belkend are the obvious choices.

They amuse me, but certainly don't distract. I never really even notice them, the cover aside.

It was one of the more dynamic parts of his character. He'd be kinda boring without it.

Legretta, Sync and the Ant Lion Man. Dist's robots too, though not Dist himself.

Not really, just excitable.

Ingobert is a superior Monarch, but Peony is choice as a Puppet leader, whilst Jade rules from the shadows.

Tokunaga, easily.

Certainly makes him more memorable.

Not really. Maybe the part with Ion made me just a tad.

25. Anything you would change about the game if you could?
I'd wipe off all the annoying, seemingly set in stone relationship and have them put in place a dynamic relationship system, which would affect the dialogue and story line, which is run by your choices, small and large. More development of NPC characters like Brigadier General Cecille and maybe have it possible to go through the game multiple times, but in another character's shoes (so you could go through the game as Anise or Jade, etc. I'd expect that you'd have to beat the game with such and such character first, though). It'd be awesome :D
